Terms of Service

Welcome to Biblios. By downloading, installing, or using the Biblios mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Biblios is a Christian inspirational app that provides audio narrations of Bible stories, devotionals, and motivational content. The App offers a free trial period for new users, after which a premium subscription is required to continue accessing all content.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account with a valid email address to use the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

3.1 Free Trial & Subscription Plans

New users receive a free trial period upon subscribing. After the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless canceled beforehand. Premium plans are available as monthly or annual subscriptions.

3.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

3.3 Cancellation

• iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Biblios > Cancel.
• Android: Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Biblios > Cancel.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access until then.
• We do not process refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple or Google.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, or publicly perform the audio content without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions or access premium content without payment.
• Upload harmful content or interfere with the App's functionality.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to audio narrations, text, images, graphics, and the App's design, is owned by or licensed to Biblios and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Bible text used in the App may be sourced from public domain translations or used under license. Specific attributions are provided within the App where applicable.

6. User Content

The App allows you to create playlists and mark favorites. These features are for personal use only. You retain ownership of your organizational choices, but the underlying content remains our intellectual property.

7. Account Deletion

• You may delete your account at any time from within the App via Settings > Delete Account.
• Upon deletion, all your personal data (profile, progress, favorites) will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• Active subscriptions are not automatically canceled when you delete your account. Please cancel your subscription before deleting your account.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biblios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

The content in the App is intended for inspirational and educational purposes. It should not be considered a substitute for professional religious, spiritual, or psychological guidance.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in behavior harmful to other users or the service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
