Biblios ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Biblios mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Provide and maintain the App's core features (audio playback, progress tracking, favorites, playlists)

• Diagnose and fix technical issues and bugs

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure, which complies with industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit and at rest.

Locally stored data (app settings, authentication tokens) is kept in secure storage on your device using encrypted mechanisms provided by the operating system.

• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Usage data & analytics: Retained for up to 14 months (Firebase Analytics default).
• Purchase data: Retained as required by applicable law and for subscription management.

When you delete your account, all associated data (profile, progress, favorites) is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data. You can do this from within the app via Settings > Delete Account, or see our Account Deletion page.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out: Disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

The App is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where our third-party service providers operate. These transfers are safeguarded by appropriate data protection mechanisms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
